KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The KCKCC baseball team had a field day at the plate on Tuesday afternoon as they defeated Metropolitan CC 17-2 on their home turf. Ranked No. 19 all of last week, the Blue Devils also moved up two spots in the rankings to No. 17 and have now won 16 of their last 17 games.

After the Wolves struck for one run in the first inning, the Blue Devils found their mojo and scored 14 unanswered runs through the first five innings of play. Metropolitan would send a ball over the fence in the sixth inning for a solo home run, but the Blue Devils' offense continued to strike.
KCKCC tacked on one run in the sixth before shutting out the Wolves in the seventh inning. The game was then called due to the run-rule as it finished in seven frames.
