Unruh Leads Men's Golf To 5th Place Finish At KJCCC Tournament

WICHITA, Kan. - Colby Unruh led the KCKCC men's golf team to a 5th place finish at the KJCCC Tournament on Monday and Tuesday, after placing sixth individually with a score of 1-under par. The Blue Devils totaled a score of 61-over par, 913, defeating Fort Scott, Hesston and Coffeyville CC in the process. 

Carson Towey was next in line for KCKCC with a 14-over par 227 taking 22nd, while Tommy O'Connor and Jacob Hall also reached the top 30 taking 26th and 28th respectively. Jason Krannawitter and Jack Tarvin were 35th and 36th overall to round out the squad.

Hutchinson CC swept the field with an 11-under par score and Dodge City CC finished second with a 1-over par. 

The Blue Devils will play at the third KJCCC Tournament of the spring on April 18-19 at Sandcreek Golf Course in Newton, Kan.
