KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The KCKCC baseball team is seven games into their fall season, but one game on the schedule coming up is more important than taking the field and playing a normal contest. On Oct. 7, the Blue Devils and crosstown rival Johnson County Community College will play a fall scrimmage to help raise awareness for Down Syndrome.
The Blue Devils and JCCC will play a fall exhibition game on Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. on the campus of JCCC in Overland Park, Kan. to help benefit Down Syndrome Innovations. All gate proceeds and any donations will go directly to Down Syndrome Innovations. Admission is $10 per person or fans can donate online at https://kcdsi.org/donation-form/.
Fans can also appear to the game early with the following schedule:
5-5:40 p.m. – JCCC batting practice
5:40-6:20 p.m. – KCKCC batting practice
First Pitch – 7 p.m.
