The Kansas City Kansas Community College Men's Soccer team defeated the Pratt Community College Beavers with a final score of 4-2 on Wednesday, Sept 10 in Pratt, Kan. KCKCC took control early with three first-half goals. Despite a late push from Pratt, the Blue Devils secured the win with a fourth goal in the second half. KCKCC has now scored four goals in each of their last three games.
Damon Walter scored twice and added the first goal of the game for the Blue Devils. That makes it four goals on the season for Walter. Andres Tamayo netted the game-winning goal, marking his only shot on target. Natan Masi contributed with a goal and an assist, demonstrating versatility in attack. Goalkeeper Kleber Meneses Fabia recorded eight saves, allowing two goals over 90 minutes. As a team, they added 18 total shots and put eight of them on net.
The next game for the Blue Devils men's soccer team is against the Central Community College-Columbus Raiders at 4:00 p.m. Sep. 13 at the KCKCC soccer field.
