Blue Devils Fall in Hard Fought Battle 
 

The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team fell to Allen Community College, 67-62 on Saturday despite a strong third quarter where they outscored the Red Devils 25-12. The Blue Devils made 7-21 attempts from beyond the arc, finishing with a field goal percentage of 40. 

KCKCC delivered a 25-point third quarter to cut into the lead, but the Red Devils finished strong with a 21-point fourth quarter. Both teams committed 14 turnovers, yet Allen County capitalized with 10 steals compared to none from Kansas City. 

Alana Webb led the team with 17 points, connecting on 7-10 field goal attempts, and added five assists. Kylee West scored 12 points and collected six rebounds, converting 6-11 shots from the field. Sandra Hracka contributed 11 points and secured eight rebounds, including five on the offensive end. Amiyah Fulton tallied 10 points and dished out three assists. 

The next game for the Blue Devils is against the No.1 Johnson County Community College Cavaliers at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 11 at Breidenthal Court in the KCKCC Fieldhouse.
