Willis Allen joined the Kansas City Kansas Community College women’s basketball staff as assistant coach in June 2023. Prior to KCKCC, he served as a graduate assistant at the University of Saint Mary (KS) from 2021 to 2023. Allen began his collegiate coaching career while attending Queens University of Charlotte (2017–2021), where he worked as a student assistant during his senior year and originally joined the program in 2017 as a practice player.
He was named the Interim Head Coach as of early December 2025 until April 2026.
A native of Durham, North Carolina, Willis graduated from Hillside High School in 2017, where he competed on the basketball team and set the foundation for his coaching career.
