Women’s Soccer Remains Perfect in Conference Play

The No.11 Women's Soccer team secured a 3-1 victory over Highland Community College on Saturday, Sept.20. Kansas City Kansas Community College dominated the match with 26 shots, 13 of which were on target. Despite Highland Community College's early equalizer in the first half, the Blue Devils pulled away with two late second-half goals to clinch the win.

Dani Willeford scored the game-winning goal and led the team with four shots, including two on goal. Elissa Green, who has now scored in five consecutive games, recorded two goals and one assist, contributing significantly to the team's offensive efforts with seven shots, four of which were on target. Daya Lou Homey provided one assist and registered three shots, one of which was on goal. Mallory McWillie played the full 90 minutes in goal, making three saves and allowing just one goal.

The next game for the Blue Devils women's soccer team is against the Neosho County Community College Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Sept. 24 at the KCKCC soccer field.
