The No.11 Kansas City Community College women's soccer team dominated Southeast Community College with an 8-0 victory Oct.1. The Blue Devils scored six times in the first half and added two more goals in the second half. The match saw KCKCC taking 73 total shots, with 37 on goal, while their defense held the Bobcats to zero shots. Both Blue Devil goalkeepers recorded a shutout and tallied no saves.
Bayli Benson contributed to the team's success by scoring one goal and assisting another, with both of her shots on target. Ivori Jones led the attack with two goals, including the game-winner, from her four shots. Elissa Green made a significant impact with one goal and one assist, while also leading the team in shots with seven. Dani Willeford added an assist to her name and recorded two shots on goal from five attempts. Other goals came from Daya Lou Homey, Martina Barrera, Madi Logan and Adrianna Lara.
The next game for the Blue Devils women's soccer team is against the Pratt Community College Beavers at 3 p.m. Oct. 4 at the KCKCC Soccer Field.
