The No.12 Kansas City Kansas Community College women's soccer team took an early lead with two first-half goals but fell to the No. 3 Neosho County Community College Panthers 3-2 Oct. 29 at the KCKCC Soccer Field. This match marked the first round of the 2025 DII Women's Soccer Region VI Tournament. KCKCC fired 20 shots, with nine on target, showcasing a strong offensive effort. The Panthers capitalized on their chances, scoring twice in the second half to secure the victory, which resulted in the end of the Blue Devils season.
Elissa Green scored one goal and added one assist, contributing significantly to the team's efforts. Ivori Jones found the back of the net for the first goal of the game, converting one of her four shots into a goal. Kennedy Ashley provided an assist, helping to set up one of the team's successful scoring plays. Daya Lou Homey showed offensive activity with five shots, two of which were on target but was unable to score.
The Blue Devils finished with an overall record of 13-4-2 and a conference record of 7-2-1.
