Robert Russell took Blue Devil golf to its highest pinnacle in 1995 when he won the NJCAA National Division I championship in arguably the most exciting finish in tournament history by posting an eagle on the final hole for a one-shot win. All-Region and All-Conference in 1993-94, the win capped an All-American season for Russell, who also repeated his regional and all-conference honors.
