PARKVILLE, Mo. - The KCKCC men's golf team had an impressive second day at the Park University Tournament, shooting a score of 301 and wound up taking ninth place over the course of the two days with a total score of 628. The team played at two different courses in the tournament with some challenging obstacles along the way.
Josh Killingsworth led the Blue Devils with an 18th-place finish and 10-over par, while Jack Stuckey took 31st place scoring a 14-over par after shooting a 74 in the second round. Nate Saporito finished five spots behind him in 36th place with a 17-over par and Turner Depperschmidt took 42nd place with a 20-over par.
Parker Vancampen rounded out the squad with a 24-over par placing 46th.
Missouri Valley was the tournament champion with a score of 595, with Park University and Friends University taking second and third place with scores of 597.
KCKCC returns to the links on Oct. 17-18 as they travel to Enid, Okla. to face off in the Northwest Oklahoma State Tournament.
