Led by a one-two finish in the individual competition, Kansas City Kansas Community College won the 2023 Wolves Howl Fall Golf Invitational in a breeze.

The Blue Devils posted a four-man score of 319 to easily outdistance Fort Scott (337) and the tournament host, Metropolitan Community College (341). The meet was played Wednesday at the par 72 Fred Arbanas course.

Josiah Morris, a sophomore from Coyle, Okla., led the medalist scoring with a 4-over-par 76, one shot ahead of teammate Turner Depperschmidt of Washburn Rural. A third Blue Devil, sophomore Maddox Hight of Washburn Rural, also shot a 76 while competing individually.

Freshman Keenan Unruh of Overland Park and sophomore Jack Stuckey of Goddard had 83s and Tonganoxie freshman Gabe Seba 95 to round out the KCKCC scoring.

The Blue Devils will close out the fall schedule Oct. 23-24 when they compete in the Bethany College fall tournament at the Salina Municipal Golf Course.
