Baseball Gets Best of Panthers 
 

The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team secured a decisive 9–3 victory in game one and followed it up with a 12–4 victory in game two against Neosho County Community College on Friday. Both games showcased a blend of powerful hitting and solid pitching, leading to a dominant doubleheader performance. 

In game one, Donovan Johnson delivered a solid performance, pitching 5.0 innings while striking out four batters and allowing three earned runs on seven hits. He issued one walk to the opposing team's batters. Caden Howell came in as a relief pitcher, contributing 2.0 innings with two strikeouts and maintaining a low WHIP of 0.50, despite hitting one batter and issuing a walk.  

Braden Horn recorded three hits and tallied a team-high four RBIs. Ian Woita, who added a home run and collected one RBI while scoring twice, and Brady Kern, who finished with three hits and two stolen bases, contributing two runs. Reid Oakley doubled twice, driving in two runs and scoring once. 

In game two, the Blue Devils pitching staff displayed a balanced effort against the Panthers. Dylan Blazer started and pitched 5.0 innings, allowing two earned runs on five hits while striking out six batters. Tyler Parr and Sebastian Udland each contributed a scoreless inning of relief, facing three batters and recording one strikeout apiece. Blake Neis closed with 2.0 innings, surrendering two earned runs and striking out two, despite allowing a home run. 

Owen Musil crossed the plate three times in game two and collected two hits and two RBIs. Lennox Vann added two hits, scored twice, and homered while also recording one RBI. Colton Kirkham posted three hits and drove in two runs, showcasing his consistency at the plate. The doubleheader marked a successful day for the Blue Devils, highlighting their offensive depth and pitching prowess.
