The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team secured an 11–7 victory over North Central Missouri College Tuesday at the KCKCC Baseball Field. KCKCC's lineup was bolstered by four home runs, contributing significantly to its run total.
Carter Beach delivered a perfect inning for KCKCC, facing three batters and striking out one without allowing any hits or walks. Tyler Parr impressed with a dominant performance, recording three strikeouts in his single inning of work without conceding any baserunners. Tanner Warner pitched two innings, striking out one and earning his second win of the season, though he allowed three walks. Bryant Siemens and Trey Weixeldorfer each recorded three strikeouts in their respective innings, despite allowing one earned run each.
Braden Horn showcased power at the plate, recording two hits, including a home run, and driving in three runs. Lennox Vann also contributed significantly by hitting a triple and a home run, tallying three RBIs and scoring twice. Ian Woita added to the scoring with a home run, driving in two runs and crossing the plate once himself. Meanwhile, Mason Hensley demonstrated patience, drawing three walks and scoring twice.
The Blue Devils will start their series against the Labette Cardinals at 1 p.m. March 26 at the KCKCC Baseball Field.
