The Kansas City Kansas Community College baseball team 18-game winning streak was snapped after losing a high-scoring contest to North Central Missouri College, 15–14, on Tuesday. KCKCC recorded 15 hits and 13 RBIs, including two home runs and five doubles, but could not overcome the Pirates' four home runs in a nine-inning thriller.
The Blue Devil's pitching staff faced a challenging game with Colton Kirkham starting and allowing three earned runs on one hit over one inning, including a home run. Lucas Clarke contributed 1.0 inning of relief, conceding one run on one hit while striking out one batter. Tanner Warner provided some stability, pitching 2.0 innings and allowing one earned run, also surrendering a home run. Sebastian Udland delivered a notable performance with 1.1 innings of work, striking out three and allowing just one hit.
Braden Horn posted a strong performance with six RBIs and two home runs, contributing significantly to the team's scoring. Brady Kern scored four runs, adding two doubles and two stolen bases to his efforts on the field. Mason Hensley recorded three hits, two of which were doubles, showing effectiveness at the plate. Holden Finley added two runs and collected two hits, including a double, in his offensive contribution.
