Hanna Acree joins the KCKCC Softball staff in February 2026 as a Student Assistant Coach, bringing experience, leadership, and a strong understanding of the program after a standout two-year career in the circle for the Blue Devils.
A native of Concordia, Kan., Acree pitched for KCKCC from 2023-2025, appearing in 56 games with 42 starts. Over 221.2 innings pitched, she compiled a 26-10 record with a 3.19 career ERA and 120 strikeouts. She also recorded 18 complete games and one save during her time in a Blue Devil uniform.
Acree delivered her strongest season in 2023-24, posting an 18-4 record with a 2.61 ERA across 136.2 innings. She led the team in ERA and ranked fourth in the conference that spring, striking out 88 batters while helping anchor the pitching staff.
In 2024-25, she added eight wins in 85.0 innings of work, finishing her career with a 1.43 WHIP and demonstrating consistency, competitiveness and leadership in the circle.
Now transitioning into a coaching role, Acree will assist with the pitching staff while mentoring the next generation of Blue Devil student-athletes, continuing her impact on the program both on and off the field.
