    The fourth seeded Kansas City Kansas Community College women’s basketball team fell to the fifth seeded Labette Community College, 75-67, in the opening round of the 2026 NJCAA Division 2 Region VI Women's Basketball Tournament. The Blue Devils kept the game tight with a balanced offensive effort, including 20 assists and 10 steals, but Labette's 21 points from turnovers and 18 second-chance points proved decisive. Labette pulled away in the final quarter to end the Blue Devil season.

KCKCC capitalized on 29 Panther turnovers, converting them into 38 points. Neosho County led by six points in the second quarter, but the Blue Devil 48 points in the paint proved decisive in securing the narrow victory.

KCKCC took control with a 12-point lead in the fourth quarter, capitalizing on 12 points from turnovers and shooting 90% from the free-throw line. The Greyhounds struggled at the line, converting just 53.3% of its attempts, and committed 23 turnovers, which proved costly.

    The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team edged out Labette Community College with an 80-74 victory at Breidenthal Court on Saturday. KCKCC overcame a seven-point deficit in the first quarter, capitalizing on 26 points from turnovers and hitting 13 three-pointers to secure the win. Labette held a brief lead and dominated the paint with 36 points but was unable to maintain the advantage in overtime.

Despite a strong rebounding performance with 45 total boards, the game was marked by a tight halftime score of 28-25 in favor of the Blue Devils. The Pirates, ranked No. 21 in the NJCAA DII Poll, surged in the final two quarters, closing the game with a decisive 19-point fourth quarter.

    The Kansas City Kansas Community College women’s basketball team fell to the No.1 Johnson County Community College Cavaliers, 76-50, Wednesday at Breidenthal Court. KCKCC struggled with shooting accuracy, hitting only 31.7% from the field and 33.3% from the free-throw line. Johnson County dominated the paint with 48 points and held a significant 47-32 advantage in rebounds.

    The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team fell to Highland Community College, 73-67, at Ben Allen Field House on Saturday. KCKCC narrowed the gap with a strong second quarter, scoring 27 points, but Highland maintained control with a dominant 22-point third quarter. The Blue Devils recorded 15 assists and 7 steals, while Highland collected 43 rebounds and scored 36 points in the paint. 
  • Blue Devils Fall in Hard Fought Battle

    The Kansas City Kansas Community College women’s basketball team fell to Allen Community College, 67-62 on Saturday despite a strong third quarter where they outscored the Red Devils 25-12. The Blue Devils made 7-21 attempts from beyond the arc, finishing with a field goal percentage of 40. 
  • Blue Devils Receive Third Conference Loss

    The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team fell to Fort Scott Community College 62-52 Saturday at Breidenthal Court. KCKCC forced 24 turnovers and scored 27 points off those opportunities but struggled with shooting, connecting on just 32.3% from the field. Fort Scott led by as many as 12 points in the fourth quarter and secured the win with a 32-29 rebounding advantage.
  • Blue Devils Destroy Vikings

    The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team dominated the Missouri Valley College Varsity Reserve team, 76-30, at Breidenthal Court Monday. KCKCC forced 24 turnovers, converting them into 32 points, and secured a 54-30 advantage on the boards. The Blue Devils established a commanding 50-point lead with just under two minutes remaining in the game, aided by a robust 46 points in the paint. The Vikings struggled offensively, shooting just 18.9% from the field.
  • No.15 Blue Devils Fall to 0-2 in Conference Play

    The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's basketball team fell to the No.1 Johnson County Community College Cavaliers, 103-51 on Saturday at the JCCC Gym. KCKCC struggled offensively, shooting just 31.3% from the field and 20% from beyond the arc. JCCC, maintaining their undefeated record, capitalized with a 60% field goal percentage and a dominant 46 points in the paint.
  • No.15 Blue Devils Fall in Conference Opener

    The No.15 Kansas City Kansas Community College women’s basketball team fell in their conference opener to Allen Community College, 53-42, at Breidenthal Court. KCKCC struggled offensively, shooting 25.9% from the field and committing 15 turnovers. Despite forcing 23 turnovers and recording 12 steals, the Blue Devils were unable to overcome the Red Devils' 11-point lead established late in the fourth quarter.

    The No. 18 Kansas City Kansas Community College women’s basketball team delivered a dominant performance at Breidenthal Court, defeating Mid-America Nazarene University 78–48 to improve to 12–4 on the season.

    The No.18 Kansas City Kansas Community College women’s basketball team delivered a dominant performance at Breidenthal Court on Monday, rolling past John Wood Community College 66–35 to improve to 11–4 on the season. The Blue Devils controlled the game from start to finish, building a lead as large as 32 points in the third quarter while outworking the Blazers on the glass, 57–35, and holding them to just 25.5 percent shooting from the field.
  • No. 21 Blue Devils Throttle Wolves

    The No. 21 Kansas City Kansas Community College women’s basketball team rolled past Metropolitan Community College with a dominant 78–38 win, stretching the lead to 40 points in the fourth quarter. The Blue Devils shot 43.5% from beyond the arc, knocked down 10 threes and held a 47–42 edge on the glass. MCC finished just 9-of-61 from the field.

    The Kansas City Kansas Community College women’s basketball team defeated North Arkansas College, 75-65, behind 13 three-pointers and a 15-point third-quarter lead Nov. 11. The Blue Devils capitalized on their perimeter shooting, converting 13 of 30 attempts for a 43.3% success rate, while also forcing 19 turnovers that led to 14 points. North Arkansas made a late push with 20 points in the fourth quarter, but KCKCC’s bench contributed 36 points to help secure the win.

    The Kansas City Kansas Community College women’s basketball team had a thrilling weekend during the Regular Season National tournament in Lake Worth, Fla. First edging Palm Beach State College 67-65 Oct. 31, before falling to No.18 Lake Land College 68-60 Nov. 1 at Erling Gym.
